Leading the way when it comes to features, safety and passenger comfort, it is easy to see why Mitsubishi Fuso Rosa is the best selling bus in its class (for the fifth consecutive year)*.
The new model Rosa ADR08/02 buses are largely unchanged from the ADR08/00 models except for new styling, a few minor improvements and a new ADR80/02 compliant lower emission engine. The new engine has received a considerable performance boost. Rated at 110kW/470Nm, the new engine has approximately 5% more power and 14% more torque over the ADR08/00 model.
The electronic plug-type door is forward located so passengers must enter/exit the vehicle within the driver's line of sight. The door can be conveniently opened or closed with a push of a button from the drivers' seat, or by operated manually from either inside and outside of the cabin using a lever which located near the base of the door.
The rear emergency door features a central locking system that automatically locks itself when the ignition is off, and unlocks when the ignition is turned to allow for a quick exit route in the unfortunate event of an accident.
Fully ducted air conditioning and fabric high-back seats maximise passenger comfort, while the Rosa Deluxe's large, tinted panoramic windows reduce glare and enhance sight seeing and privacy.
Front disc brakes and an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) provide superior braking performance and control under all conditions. Front and rear double acting shock absorbers, independent double wishbone front and long taper leaf rear suspension, and a rear stabiliser bar combine for an extremely smooth ride.
Most importantly, the key safety feature that sets Rosa Deluxe apart from its competitors is the fact that every seat comes with its own ADR 68/00 compliant, factory-fitted 3-point lap/sash seat belt. To allow for the safe installation of baby capsules or child seats, six of the Rosa Deluxe's passenger seats are also fitted with child restraint anchor points.
Fuso also manufacturer a Standard Rosa model, which has easy to clean vinyl low back bench seats (no seatbelts), wide isles and an electric bi-fold door instead of the plug-type door found on the deluxe model.
Both Standard and Deluxe Rosa models are available in a choice of either a manual or automatic transmission.
